History of Zimmerhoff German Shepherd Breeder

We began mentoring with Hans of Alpine K9 in Arizona by attending a gathering of CZECH GERMAN SHEPHERD enthusiasts from around the world, embracing the history, knowledge and foundation of the CZECH WORKING LINE GERMAN SHEPHERD lineage. In selecting our first female, Hans made a comment “You want high drive or pretty dog?”

As a puppy we could not tell if she was going to be pretty! In the airport at 6 weeks old she carried herself as though she “was comfortable in her own skin”. She showed her stability and confidence at a young age. She showed her natural protective instincts, high drive and intelligence immediately. With her highly protective instincts and prey drive we saw her guard and sense strangers on our property for many years and also being very loyal and loving to us.
